I am sorry but this messed up our squad duels.  Your morality police need policing.  It is so STUPID a squad event is messed up with quasi-puritanical nonsense.  Was is pubilc?  NO!

Was it freaking annoying?   Yes!

Will I be banned?  Likely.

But this is stupid.

I freaking work for (edit someone way worse than HTC) - but this is nutz.

If hitech were near I would l slip him lite beer right now.  This is stupid.  Try it guys, type "I shot his bellybutton off" in DA.  Automatic 60 minutes mute - (ergo end squad event).

{try same in MA - least a stupid warning}

IN MA i can see "some" filtering.  Although these same police offer FULL top of the lungs real time voice.  But in special arenas?  ESPECIALLY duelling arena - do we have to draw a picture?

For all the good stuff HTC has done...this has just gone to ridiculous "1984" leve's and is not even consistantly applied.

I'm done typing - if HTC bans me - whatever - but this was plain and simple - one thing....

WRONG

Ewww...I don't like Pizza Hut.  Local pizza place called Geppettos - chicago style.

SOB

I tried it.  The auto-muter muted me for 60 minutes for saying "i shot his bellybutton off".  I SWITCHED TO THE ROOK TEAM TO DO IT.  THERE WASN'T ANYBODY EVEN FREAKING THERE TO HEAR ME.  I DID IT ON COUNTRY CHANNEL.  I WILL HOLD MY BREATH UNTIL THIS IS CHANGED.  THIS IS A TRAGEDY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I RELOGGED AND WAS NO LONGER MUTED.  SKUZZY IS A SCHMUCK!!!  I STILL LIKE PIZZA!

Pizza is good,  has something from all the major food groups
crust (grain and dairy), Tomato sauce (fruits and vegtables), pepperoni, sausage, ham (meat) pineapple (more from fruits and vegtables), and in germany they put tuna fish on pizza

Just add Beer (more grain to offset all them vegtables) to wash all those vitamins down.
Pizza the perfect food.

Normally I dont like Pizza Hut, but their Chicago Style is differant.

They might not advertise it, but it is the one pizza not made in the store, but rather shipped to them in cases of 24.  It is reminiscient of a Noble Romans Sicilian style pizza.  Give it a try.

Unos of Chicago makes a great pizza, as does Genos in Chicago, but I dont get there enough anymore to get an original.

While the anony-jerks DO need some serious policing, I doubt if this was one of them.  Last I heard they only have power in the MA.

It appears the word "ass" has been added to the bad word filter.  I once got a 10minute mute from an anony-jerk for explaining to a 109 what a handsomehunk he was to stop his defensive manuevering (2 friendlies engaged with him) to go after a lowly Il2 that was playing with gv's.  Insta-mute from one of the anony-jerks.  The mute time  passed, said something to the effect of the 109 driver was a handsomehunk at that time, and is handsomehunk now a keyword for the anony-jerks and promptly got muted by him again.  /shrug oh well.

And in the MA you can tell if it's the script or an anony-jerk that gets ya... the script gives ya a warning.  Course that only applies to the first warning.... ya get muted after that it's either or.

Though something interesting about the filtering of "ass"... it doesn't seem you'll get muted for the 2nd time you say it.... I tried to say it a couple of times in the MA and got a warning both times.

What does a stupid word filter protect us from? Does it extinct the words it matches? It just achieves some hilarious games with abreviations and variations of a few select words. It's not like the content of this game is a Sunday afternoon tea party with grandma.
It's a game and it's a competion. It's about WW2 planes trying to kill each other (albeit in a non-lethal arcade form). It get's emotional like every competion gets. All the filter does is to provide an annoying form of censorship and censorship is imho a sign of weakness. Who needs that thing. Get rid of it and save a few lines of code ;)
And if you really have to keep the text buffer clean at least get rid of the mute. Just filter the words. Anyone seen 'Demolition Man' ? The little ticket machines lol.

Is there something wrong with you?  What does pointing out that we're all adults here, that WWII pilots and commanders swore, and that foul language truly captures the fighting spirit of the air warrior have ANYTHING to do with the $14.95 (not $15.00) I pay to play Aces High?  I never ONCE said ANYTHING even remotely CLOSE to implying that I'm entitled to swear because I pay $14.95 (not $15.00) a month to play Aces High.

Minnesota Greek Pizza, thats the only way to go.

Basils, B&Ls, and Bills Pizza in Northfield Minnesota

Sammy's up in Duluth Minnesota

Steve's Pizza in Manomoni? Wisconsin (darn indian names!)

There is one in Owatanna Minnesota too but I cant remember the name, something like 'teds'.

And my old bosses place in Farmington Minnesota, probably gonna be called Ted's pizza.

Thin cracker crust, rolled (keeps all the little air pockets in it) not thrown when you order.  Lite sauce, peperoni under the cheese (oils seep into the crust and make it soooo tasty) with square sliced moz on top (big slices not shredded).

Chain pizza tastes like arse.

Minnesota Pizza?   Puhhleeeeeeeeeeeze!

I live in Minnesota and with rare exception, a really good pizza is hard to find.

Broadway Pizza on Lindale in Richfield is pretty good, but being Chicago area born and bred, I know you gotta go to the loop for a good pie.

I still like Sicilian style, where the sauce is put on top of the fixin's.

Had a pizza in Rome once, right accross the street from the Vatican.  Damn thing had spinach on it, tasted like crap.

I know it sounds crazy, but its an institution in the towns that have them.  Most of them are related to the Pitsavis family.

Pizza in minn. otherwise sucks.

Had a pizza in france once.  Green lettuce and goat cheese.  It was actually quite good.  Not what you would expect.  Not something I would order during the superbowl though.

There is this place in town here called the "Cathedral Village Free House" which is full of wannabe artsy studmuffins.

But they make deadly pizza and have good stout on tap.

They used a wood fired oven to cook their thin crusted pizza.

I challenge anyone to name a food that doesn't taste better over a wood fire as opposed to a pan or regualr oven.  By the way, my personal favourite pizza at the afformentioned establishment  is the vegetarian pizza (no im not gay.)   The finest peppers in the land with sun dried tomatoes covered in a light drizzling of olive oil... baked in a wood wire.

I have to go eat now.

Maybe 60 mins is a *little* excessive. (though u can still just relog)
But if you really dont wanna be muted, its really simple - dont say anything to get yourself muted.
I didnt even know AH had a mutesystem untill recently and I've been here over a year.

BTW assume would not get u muted, I think the code only looks for full words, not parts of words.

Rude's right, except that just about the entire squealing Pigs squadron which at one time numbered 25 members, tried and gave up on AH.  The most common reasons were the game's lack of focus on air combat, and heavy-handed adminstration.

Piss off, every damn one of you.  HTC included.  Happy f**king turkey day.  Maybe I'll get muted for typing "turkey".

Just about my entire squad has quit AH over this and other issues.  Every "feature" that took the game farther away from it's original focus on air combat caused one more flying pig to cancel his account.  I know 10-15 players isn't really that much revenue, but from the amount of griping about non-gameplay B*LLS**T coming from half the players posting to the BBS, I can't imagine we're the only group deciding to spend our money elsewhere.

When was the last time you got muted playing GPL or America's Army?  BF1942?

Anyone who equates foul language with being an adult is certainly not an adult.  They are NOT related.

BTW this game is NOT dedicated for "adult only" participation. There is NOT a minimum age for play nor membership as a subscriber. Obviously from those who think foul language is an indicator of being an adult there is also not a minimum IQ level required either.

You should know that in the United States of America, you can not obtain a credit card unless you are at least 18 years of age, and without a credit card, you can not subscribe to Aces High, and therefore, all Aces High subscribers must be adults, since you can not subscribe to Aces High without a credit card, and since you can't get a credit card unless you are 18 years of age, when you are legally considered an adult.  (They call this the "age of majority", but since the rest of the forums are apparently two steps ahead of you as it is, never mind that.  I'm not trying to befuddle you here.)  A minimum IQ is certainly required to follow this chain of logic, and it doesn't take a lawyer to comprehend the legality of accepting credit card payments from minors.

Again, for the sake of you intelligent people out there who keep putting words into my mouth, I said:

If you've gotten over the "age of majority" thing, clear your mind (so as not to strain its capacity to comprehend this), and re-read:  "We're all adults here."  Nothing has been said which relates being adults to using foul language.  Something has been said which relates being a WWII pilot or a commander and foul language.

You should know you do NOT have to be 18 to get a credit card in America. You only have to have a parent's permmission. You should also know that not all players here are on an account paid for by themselves, a parent paid for it. Many under the age of 19 have credit cards.

The age of majority IS 18 for most things other than alcohol purchases. You do not have to be 18 to have an account with HTC.

You should also know that not all posts are related to those made by you. There are others who post here who realize the world does NOT rotate around your posterior. This is even though your posterior just might be large enough to have that much gravitational pull. Please understand that. In THIS case this post IS related to yours. Please note the quote.
