Title: Feature Request: Damage Sounds
Post by: moose on November 29, 2002, 01:59:31 PM
Is there any way you guys could seperate the damage sounds for each aircraft? (that way a 3rd party sound developer could create one sound of a wing ripping off, or glass shattering, or etc etc)

Can't you already do this?

Mitsu has it set so the Mossie has it's own sounds for damage because of its wooden structure.

if you place the hit sounds (i believe there are several) inside the folder with the name of your chosen aircraft it will only play on that aircraft.

ie if you have german and american 'check 6' sounds you can place them in their corresponding axis or allied planes.
I have japanese check6's in japanese planes,German in LW and english and american ones too.
same thing could be done for seperate hit sounds.

That is how my sound folders are setup as well.
