Title: image complexity sliders?
Post by: WhiteHawk on December 01, 2002, 08:19:50 AM
Have a problem.  I know my sdram 133 is prolly the culprit but..
frame rate varies from 45-60 in nearly all situations.  (I have
v-sync enabled so my refresh rate limits my frame rate).
When I get on rear guns of a buff form and I have any
smoke in my view, (from my engines) and nme plane firing and
me firing, my frame rate drops to rediculously low levels.
This results in me dying.  I fly at 1280x32 res.
I have GF 440 mx
           768 133 Ram
           p1.7.
           30.82 drivers
Is there anyway to dummy down the smoke so I can play?
Is there anyway to increase the number of bullets per tracer?
if not, HTC could you put some image complexity sliders in
the setup screen?
