I read somewhere FSU may end up in a bowl game with da Dawgs
Hope so, this Gator fan would get a chance to cheer a team on to victory over da Dawgs twice in one year :)

Florida teams are overrated, year in and year out. Schedule.

That's because FSU's Rix and Leon ran all over the D-line and the linebackers had their shoe laces tied together. If it wasn't for Todd Johnson, the rushing yardage would've been a lot higher.

Yeah, Tennessee, Georgia, Auburn, Alabama, and LSU are all real pushovers...
The road to national championships usually run through Miami, FSU, or (for one bright shining moment) UF.

Go Canes!
:)

If Canes lose to VA Tech, the it is quite possible UGA will be playing for a national championship, if that doesnt happen(which I have a feeling it will)
While we know it will be Georgia (or Arkansas, should the Hogs upset the Dawgs), there's a chance USC could end up here. If the Orange Bowl takes Iowa, FSU would likely be the Hawkeyes opponent and USC would play the SEC champ.
Buckeyes waiting to see who they play. Miami appears to be one win over Virginia Tech away. But with Oklahoma and Notre Dame losing, UM might -- might -- be able to lose and still play for the national title
The fuzziest of all the BCS bowls. It would be tough for the Orange Bowl to take Notre Dame over USC, especially considering the way the Trojans dominated the Irish. Maybe Iowa lands here -- the Orange Bowl does have first pick if Miami is in the Fiesta Bowl -- but tough to believe the Rose Bowl wouldn't fight hard to keep the Big Ten team in Pasadena. If Iowa is the first choice, then the pairing could be Iowa-FSU.
Oh yeah POLLOCK did you score any tickets? I got 12 of them thru ARK ticket office. It possible I might have a couple extra's but wont find out till Wednesday

Just goes to show how porked the BCS is, a team with a 9-4 record goes to a major BCS game. WTF is that, typical politics, the damned mentor meets the master angle is gonna get SOoooooo played out. Yes FSU is a good team, but deserving of a BCS bowl, NEVER has a team with 4 losses done this. Only good thing that will come from a UGA win will hopefully be recruiting. If we whip FSU, hopefully some of the CRIMINOLES recruits will defect to GA (Simms).

and when you lose? :)

well, let's see. the BCS is about two things, and only two things.
#1 vs #2 and making money for the 6 major conferences.
What did the BCS do this year? #1 and #2 are playing, and the 6 conferences are getting money.
Talk all you want about FSU being 9-4, but the fact is they won the pathetic ACC. The ACC is a member school of the BCS so they get to go. If Notre Dame wants to play in the BCS, they need to go ahead and join the Big East in football (they are a member school in just about every other sport) totally instead of snaking West Virginia's Gator Bowl bid.
That "lovely FSU team" is also the only team that has come close to beating Miami this year, all of a missed field goal close.
So Rip, you're telling me that San Jose State, Wyoming and Idaho are good teams? or Nevada, Idaho and Montana State (lol! not even Div 1A!) are tough schedule opponents? I tell you, the BCS really agrees with you that FSU has an easy schedule! I mean all those teams like USC, Michigan and... oh wait, that's all that have higher ranked schedules than FSU according to straight wins and losses. :D

then you have the OutBack Bowl
those over-rated dumb southern boy Gators against the mighty northern boys of Michigan..
any takers?
