viable. Enywaze. They have open mike session, So if anybody wants to
know anything (except frequency of bowel movements) or has questions,
regarding specific planes, theaters, ACM, or just general stuff, feel free
to post away here.. I will make sure they get asked and answered. About
50 to 75 should be there, including wives. Our last RAF guy (Dennis Bean)
moved away, so no RAF fellas anymore. Best place to check out is the roster
page which lists name, branch, unit, planes flown. Those highlighted in
yellow have pages on the site.
Not tryin to pimp the site as the last time I checked the logs with my ISP,
it looked like bout 60,000 visitors and 250,000 page views tween June 2001
and June 2002. There is no advertising or link exchanges or any of that
stuff.
Very few of the fellas are on computers, much less newsgroup participants so
their contact with the internet community is virtually nil.
Please dont take yourselves for granted as I can tell you that for the most
part, any interest by the outside world is greatly appreciated. With some
notable exceptions, (like here) the fellas are mostly forgotten when they
are out and about. Just one more ol guy in the slow lane cloggin up
traffic, or holding up the check out line in the supermarket.
