"UN inspectors make first surprise visit to Saddam's palace
Last Updated Tue, 03 Dec 2002 10:21:28
BAGHDAD - UN arms inspectors tested their new powers Tuesday and searched one of Saddam Hussein's presidential palaces for weapons of mass destruction.
Two UN convoys arrived unannounced at two different gates of the al-Sajoud palace complex west of Baghdad on their sixth day of inspections.
The palace guards scrambled and radioed for instructions as the half-dozen vehicles arrived, but opened the gates and let them in with only a short delay. "

Somehow i sense a bad comedy, with Leslie Neilsen, will shortly follow, based on these inspections... LOL

Leslie Nielsen is incapable of making a bad comedy. He's my favourite Canadian. :)

That is one of them....lets see if the reception is as rosy for all of 'em (palaces). Way too early to make a call on the determination that he's not hiding anything.

Sheesh...the nerve of that guy for following the UN mandate!
Looks like chimpy may not get his war after all. :D
Time to push Bin Laden back into the headlines.
