I have a Logitech Wingman Attack 2 and im thinking of upgrading to a Saitek Cyborg 3D gold, how much better is the cyborg than the wingman and is the difference worth it . I know its better but how much better .
-
I got the Saitek Cyborg 3d Force and its pretty nice...If I had the money I would of gone with rudder pedals and a throttle tot he side but I like it... for only $39.99 It works pretty good on AH and better on IL2...
Only 2 flight sims I play...
And then there is a 1 year gurantee or something...

Thats the only 2 flight sims i play . the Wingman does'nt stay callibrated in IL2 for some strange reason.

I gave the Cyborg Gold as a gift to a squaddie and it fell apart in a couple of months. I don't do Saitek no mo.
-
Did you throw it out the window in a fit of RAGE .

I have used and used up 6 Saitek Cyborg USB Gold sticks playing AH. I have given 2 Cyborgs as gifts. First thing to break off is the throttle tab, and on some of them the hat switch wore out fairly quickly.
But it is an inexpensive stick and I am comfortable with it. I do keep a new-in-box spare Cyborg around just in case tho-
When this one falls apart I think I will look for a better stick.

I'd really reccomend against a cyborg, mine got extremly mushy and the hat wore out after only a month or two. If you're looking for a good in-expensive joystick I'd have to reccomend the Thrustmaster Afterburner. It looks like a cheap toy, feels like a cheap toy, but is built unbelievably solid. Mind last me over a year, and some 5000-6000 hours of use.
It has an option to use either the twist on the stick, or a throttle rocker(which is well places) for rudder control, and is easy to switch between the two.
Last I checked they cost about $50.

I've had my cyborg 3d gold for a year now no problems to report. If you tend to break sticks easily go with the thrustmaster if not well it's only 10 bucks difference I'd still go with the thrustmaster. Though I don't know this stick (thrustmaster AB) , never used it, try best buy or any other store that has their stuff out in the open to compare um.

Ive never used the above mentioned hardware, but i am using a Microsft Precision Pro 2 with the twist rudders. Its not to bad and seems to be holding up well after a year and a half. I am however about to upgrade:D
