maybe, but what out what you wish for - the original P-51 had a 1100 HP allison engine - 600 HP less than the Merlined ones & no good@altitudes

Those ain't American, they're British.  Well, the first one has US markings, but it was bound for England.

There are many other aircraft that would add much more to the MA and to scenarios and CT setups than the extremely low production P-51A / Mustang Mk I.  Furthermore, the RAF is already quite nicely equipped with quad Hispano armed, low altitude aircraft.  The Typhoon Mk Ib and Mosquito FB.Mk VI do very well at that job.

That may be so, but I don't like the Typhoon or the Mosquito.

P-51 would see quite a bit of use in the MA I think.  Sure, it wouldn't really have any place in a scenario, since only a handful were made, but I bet it'd be one of the top 5 aircraft.

Don't you think the Allies have enough of an advantage without being able to swarm us with hordes of a quad Hispano aircraft of which only 200 were built?

I'd much rather see a Ki.84-I.  If we're sticking to varients of existing aircraft I'd take a Ki.61-II or Bf109G-14 over it any day.
