Post by: gatso on December 04, 2002, 06:50:09 AM: It's too early in the tour to really get an idea who's going to be at the top at the end. Best indicator early on I've always felt is fighter rank rather than overall rank. Lots of chaps still not flown any attack or buff sorties yet.

I suggest an asterik that pops up over their icon at about 1k - sorta like that 5 kill star FA had

HTC, can you perk me? Like 5 points would be plenty as long as I get my own icon. I'm not easily mistakable for anyone else either, so that can be no excuse.

I was TRYING to make my Top 15 run in SECRET.. by keeping my bomber rank low until I get the willpower up to do something I hate doing lol.

Post by: Urchin on December 04, 2002, 02:10:34 PM: Sadly enough, I agree with Lazs. A lot of the top ranked 'overall' guys aren't very good at dogfighting. Which is the funnest part of the game, in my opinion. Fariz is pretty good in an La-5 though, he can dogfight in it.

Lazers good in a P-38, AGs good to. I honestly don't know about most of the people on that list, so I can't say they 'suck', but I can't say they are good either.

We had just taken a base and were hotloading, when out of nowhere comes this screaming 262 in a dive. He blew right past our cap fighters and went for our CHOGs on the rearm pad.

I think he got 2 before he bolted for the horizon.

WTG LAZER...
