I know when u're about to start a mission you are asked if you want to score it as a fighter/attack. Is this the only way to get attack points or can u select the "attack" planes in the hanger and simply fly a sortie to get attack points...Also, why doesn't the Il2 show up when u press the Attack buton...it shows up under bomber but I would think this is an attack airplane more than a bomber........

the only way to get a score in the attack category is to select "attack" in the hanger. In fighter mode gv kills dont effect your fighter rank. They also arent scored in your attack rank either. So to get the advantage in terms of score for killing gvs you must be in attack mode.

So in the case of the IL2...when you select "Attack" it does not appear so that means you cannot get attack points for landing kills in it....just bomber points ? What if you select a plane that has a deul role and you do not select anything: "fighter,bomber,attack" in the hanger??????

Don't click "Attack" at the top of the clipboard, click it near the bottom where it says "Score As".

normally its defaulted to fighter I think if you dont change it, and you cant unselect it as its a toggle selection ie, it is either attack or fighter never nothing. :)

Didn't even notice that Button at the Bottom ....LOL...How is attack rank figured-out? If you grab a fighter-select attack- and go furballing and land Air-to-Air kills- does this still end up in your attack rank or do u have to kill GV's and hangers and stuff ??

Everything scored as Attack goes into your Attack score. A2A kills, A2G kills, destroyed objects, everything.
