A few hrs after the Pizza reset to a REAL map, I take a long lone-wolf flight overseas to desolate NME base.  It took 15 mins to get there.. most of which time I was AFK, washing dishes, arguing with wife, etc.

At 10,000' about to make landfall, NME base in sight, no activity (on ZOOM view), except for one lone dot, moving low n' slow, about 100 feet off the water,, way below me.

Excited wifes' voice from kitchen:
"HEY!! Will you turn that thing off, time to go Christmas shopping!"

Me, now fully immersed in virtual world,, rolls in in 60 degree dive.  The low-slow dot, becomes a red NME P47!  All alone, nowhere to run, nowhere to hide, and no way to stop me!

Full power, WEP dive..  My Spit-IX reaching VNE,, wind roaring in sub-woofers..

P47, turns back to base in futile escape attempt.  He knows it, I know,, it's just a matter of the end-game.

"DAD! C'MON! MOM IS WAITING!!"  (junior shaking my chair from behind)

Not now Junior! NOT NOW!!  I begged..

Thought bubble over head reads: "I'll just nail this guy quick, then bail, before the old lady has a caniption"

Level off at VNE, 50 ft over the water.. Big, fat, heavy P47, wings level, dead ahead..

1200', 1000',  900' (hold fire, hold yer fire)..

800', 750' (just another 2 seconds!!)

700', 650 ..  (finger on cannon button)

"I HAVE WAITED LONG ENOUGH!!"  (enraged wife's face drops down between computer screen and me!)

KABOOOOM! "You have crashed" (into the deep blue sea~)

"Frenchy has shot you down"

Frenchy then radios this:

"RV6, ouch!  Hey, I filmed that.. want me to send it to ya'?"

Of the countless kills & assists I've logged over the years.  THIS, will remain forever ~

Last time I met Frenchy in the sky I lost all three of my B-26's one by one.  He just would not leave me alone.
