Title: Multiple CPUs?

I run AH on a dual-CPU machine (absent present difficulties). How many others have them? How many run AH on them?

It will not make a slight difference in AH unless you are doing something in the background, like CD burning or video encoding.

Just a quick check qts... you are running Win2k or WinXP-Pro... right?

And dual processors won't help AH much.  It will allow some programs to be distributed to the other processor in the background, but you shouldln't see much of a boost in AH itself.

Yes, I'm running XP Pro. And I know that AH doesn't use SMP (though I'd like it to be), but I use the PC for other things too.
