No early war setup would be complete without the Brewster Buffalo. We should add this one to AH.

I remember asking him about the Brewster Buffalo (Then, Now and Always, my favorite aircraft). I had no sooner finished saying the word 'Buffalo', when he slammed his beer can down on the table, and practicaly snarled, "It was a DOG!" (His emphasis). Then he slowly leaned back in his chair and after a moment quietly said, "But the early models, before they weighed it all down with armorplate, radios and other toejam, they were pretty sweet little ships. Not real fast, but the little diddlys could turn and roll in a phonebooth. Oh yeah--sweet little ship; but some engineer went and diddlyed it up." With that he reached for his beer and was silent again. After that answer, I somehow had the feeling that I had just gotten a glimpse into Boyington's attitude towards life in general.

I'd place the Buffalo high on my AH plane wanted list.
Bring it on.

The export model of the F2A-1, Brewster model 239, was nothing like the F2A-3 "Buffalo" that got its tailfeathers reamed by the Zeroes on June 4th 1942.
Read this thread for information on the B-239, please: http://www.hitechcreations.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=52235

the new finland map is making the buffalo, the yak9d, the mig, the lagg3 the i16 the stuff that is needed.
only thing needed for a yak9d is a slight mod of the yak9t
lets face one thing.
the ma has only a few planes that can change its usual composition, the ki84, the yak3, no other uber planes are left to add.
working backwards now to planesets that work well in the ct and scenarios is more prominent on their agenda.
HTC has made a name for themselves on adding planes never before modelled.
what better way to do this than add the brewster and its early war russian counterparts?
it makes a lot of sense right now, especially with that outstanding finland terrain in the ct that is just screaming for the brewster.
i would say that the fin who made that terrain deserves the buffalo just for the sake of all the hard work he did free of charge. i'm sure nothing would make him happier than a brewster.

I'd love to see the Brewster Buffalo in AH as well.
When it is add, it must be in Finnish colors. All other users failed to do anything with it, the Finns were the only people to win battle honors with it.

BNM, that is a very nice picture, but unfortunately not a Brewster ;)
That is a "Humu" (HM, not BW in the fuselage), a close copy of Brewster which the Finnish State Aircraft factory "designed" and built. Only one prototype was built and it never entered production. It was worse that Brewster, with a wooden wing etc. It is also slightly longer that BW, cockpit has mostly different gauges, different engine with exhaust pipes at sides (can be seen nicely inyour pic) instead of at the bottom, etc.
But still... Can we have the Brewster.. pretty please :)

Call it anything you like, it's still a Brewster to me. Is that a song? Hmmmmm....
