N1K1 = OUCH!!!!

One hit from D600 and my tail was gone nearly every time.

A good burst from my .50 cals at 150 and the N1K1 kept going :-( One burst is all we P-47 drivers could get or we died.
Even the .50 cals on the M16 seemed to be shooting BBs.
Complaining?, hell no...this week humbled me 100%
Caint wait to see the results from this set-up!
Now I see why the allies were crying the first week I joined AH when the N1K1 was available then and was the last time till now!!

Technicality:

We have the N1K2-J Shiden-Kai "George 21", not the N1K1 Kyofu "Rex", oe even the N1K1-J Shiden "George".

And yes, it is nasty if it is above you.  That's why you use those turbochargers on the P-38 and P-47 to stay above it.
