So Hardcase, I checked out the Hangar and Off Topic forum in your games forums, and did not see any thread started by you about AH as you said you would/did.
Did I miss something?
Aren't you a man of your word?
You said when HTC has something free to offer, you would post it.
You told me you did it.
Didnt you start a new thread telling the CRS customers about Aces Highs free two week trial not even requiring a credit card, and also the free HTH option? AM I mistaken, didnt you say you would? Didnt you say you did?
Surely burying a small note in an unused forum wouldnt count, to be fair even you would realize to be on par with the SPAM you have posted here, you need to start new threads for all to see?
Speak to me HC, tell me the truth, step up to the plate now and show me if you have any ethics.

I havent played AH in a year and cannot comment on it with any expertise, so I didnt add anything. This paste was from someone posting in the thread that I grabbed. My post from ww2ol was also just a copy paste also, with no comments from me. The Community Forum is our newbie/help forum.

Surely someone has a ww2ol account and an AH account. I know many have. They can post anywhere there and yet haven't. Why not take a risk posting some info there? I'm not going to do AH's legwork either.

Well if HC posted it, great. I dont expect him to go way out of his way to sell AH, just live up to his promises.
I went with the link Ghost provided and after going thru a bunch of site certificate stuff, I found out I would have to log in to access it. Of course I can't log in as I am not a paying member of CRS.
Not exactly user, or should I say, non-subscriber friendly.
HC, when you are ready to post it in the Off topic forum, please drop one of us a note and we will be happy to provide a simple yet descriptive copy.

I can not write copy for AH, I haven't played in a year . Like I was asked, post something and I will paste it to ww2. Many of you guys are going in tonight. You will have posting privs and can post at your leisure. Civil seems always welcome.

Guys, spamming is wrong, no matter who does it. I won't be spamming the CRS boards with AH stuff- that just isn't right.

Come now... don't make it sound like its AH that has the problem here.
You go to someone else's sight, to a community that you do not participate in and post a link to the game you do participate in. That is spam. Sorry you seem to have such a hard time with that simply concept hardcase, but that seems to be your forte.

Hardcase, I moved that thread, and took the time to explain why. It was in the wrong forum, as simple as that and was already posted here in the O'Club.
If you have a problem with that, then address it with me. The AH community had nothing to do with me chosing to move that thread.
You simply posted in the incorrect forum, for what the topic was about.

Quite amusing to see Cabby jump on his high horse about not being able to discuss other sims here and how the topic here was moved then a few hours later it got moved to OT at the supposedley independant AGW also.

Many ppl on this board particpate in WW2OL. Many dropped because it was not ready for their playing. Many have moved their addys.Many will enjoy another look at it and some will stay. These are the ppl the post for whom the post was intended. You would have them not get the info? It was delivered without hype, without ragging on AH or WB ,which people obviously enjoy. You find this an infringement on your territory? Your opinion is noted.

I chuckle to myself watching Hardcase posting about other sims, I distinctly remember you joining a pig pile in an AH post in AGW in Dec.1999/Jan 2000 timeframe, that of course unless someone else in WB's was using the handle other than you. ;)

Anytime one of the AH community discusses it, everything goes well. Evertime someone from the WW2OL community tries to sell it, everything goes bad. Yet here we go again.

Really? then why did you agree with Cabby about the over moderation of certain boards, that discussion was brought up after you announced the topic had been moved on AGW, why do that if not to fan the flames further and why comment if it was not such a big problem?

AH's freebie is a standard, ww2ol's was not planned and some would miss it. Next freebie, save a spot here for me. 99 to 2K? I dont think so. 99 I stil had my wb trainer account. IF I did, just point it out, but I dont remember finding AH that much of a problem.

AGW is an interesting subject. Argo has been in my experience very cool about discussions related to other games and sims. AGW is not a company owned board, or at least it wasnt when I actively participated in it.
On the AGW Off Topics description, it clearly says its for discussions related to "other games and sims", yet when I mentioned AH in there, boy did I get piled upon. I dont bother anymore.
I thought it should be okay, its not a competitors board, it is not operated by a commercial business, and it clearly says ""other games and sims" but some really took exception to my trying to discuss AH.
This board, the AH BBS is an entirely differant matter and I think a little respect and ethics would dictate not using the fact that HTC does not limit participation to active account holders to post and recruit for a competitor.

Hey Hardcase have you posted in the CRS forusm about v1.11 being released? added a few links to download? Now would be a good time for people to try Aces High again.
