Would it be good idea if HTC create ACES HIGH version for playstaion 2, X box, or Gamecube? Those 3 consoles have multiplayer capability
-
this man does not represent the united states...........
-
Why would anyone want to play at such an amazingly low resolution?
1024x768 is barely tolerable, who the hell would want to play at NTSC res?
-
what's A "playstation 2"?
what's an "x-box"?
what's a "gamecube"?
-
terrible idea in all and every ways possible IMO. Eveything looks like crap on TV's, max res is usually around 800-600. Take an Xbox game, play it, sure the graphic is very nice. Take the same game and use it on a fairly good computer, raise res to 1024 or more and then throw out the x-box and jump some on it.
-
reel them, and remember, this is a catch and release forum

Xbox only has online gaming through Xbox Live, which pipes straight to Micro$oft. I can't see HTC turning control of their baby over to them, which is what would have to happen before Micro$oft would touch it -- and then it would become an Xbox-only product.
As an illustration of how that works, Bungie was in development of Halo for the PC and Mac until Micro$oft bought them, then suddenly Halo was the flagship game for the Xbox (the PC version is theoretically due out early next year; the Mac version is sidelined until further notice).

lol half the people here are 40+ (gettin crumb-cruncher a PS2 fer xmas)

I'd have no problem with an X-Box version of AH, if there weren't any new concessions to realism for it.
I wouldn't imagine an X-Box version would be too difficult as it is running on Win XP and DX8.1.
Of course, I'd have even less of a problem with no X-Box version taking up development time. But if it comes down to HTC needing more customers to survive, I'd rather they supported the X-Box than went out of business.

Hehehe, you're new aren't ya? :)
Almost everybody who plays AH are adults, very few children here. And not everybody have heard about silly game consoles.
-
actually 32....i guess mine is good for DVD'S:p

If u have PS2 or Xbox, you will love the NFL 2k3, SOCOM navy seals, and mech assault. You could thrash talk at people who wears headset for xbox or ps2

just thought of another reason why you shouldn't port AH onto ps2, x-box, game-cube, etc.
most console jockies want fast paced gaming, not complicated sim games where it would take weeks to learn how to fly
so AH wouldn't sell, so no point anyway
-
NEVER! HTC NEVEr would do that..
ever ever ever...
Unless he got payed alot and alot of money :D
-
I believe there are a couple ex-Kesmai (AW) guys that are high level employees for XBox and PS2 online. And I did hear that they are making a new version of SWOTL for the XBox. Of course, the controls out now for game boxes are totally unsuitable for flight sims.
I don't know if a game as difficult and complex as AH would sell or not on a game box.
-
Well...if they had various keys for text..like 1 to say.."NICE HO!..ya bastid"...or mebbe.."Ya gonna run all day La7?"...or the long time favorite..."Ya had to bring your friends..DIDNT ya?"
-
i would like too see a xbox and ps2 flight sim come out at all,,lol<~~every stupid flight game i seen on them,,you could only fly about 10,000 feet and your plane will stall,,lol,,some magical barrier they allways got set up,,,and i think to my self,,ummmm a f14 tomcat shouldnt stall at a measly 10,000 feet,,lol,,so i would be happy too see a some what realistic version,,instead of flight games geared around kids who cant fly,,or dont wanna take the time to figure it out,,lol
aces high will be a pc game for a long time,,but i beleve ps2 and xbox need a realistc flight game<~~hasnt touch his ps2 in over a year,,games stuck compared to the ones on my computer, lol<~~waste of money pretty much, lol

HiTech ... I hope ... DOES NOT want to form an alliance with the devil ... err ... I mean Bill Gates.
For all the reason, that I have read, that compelled HiTech to create his own company would be all the same reasons why he would not want to do business with Micro$oft and the "Devil".
I don't think that we will ever see Aces High for the X-Box and from what I have seen on my sons' PS2s, unless we can hook up our joysticks and pedals to the box, trying to fly the AC that we have would be damn near impossible with that POS controller that they use.
HiTech ... "JUST SAY NO" ... :D

come on slapshot..... Bill Gates isn't the devil
He's just one of His customers, duh
