Well knowing it is slower than the Goon might make it a hanger Queen, and it's MG 15 is not going to detear anything other than a goon from taking it on.

 A Tabby would be a better choice imo, faster and much better armend and easy for HTC to model.

  Howeaver I bet we never get another troop transpot plane.

How maneuverable is it?

The C-47 is quite a stall fighter.

actually the stirling short would be good to (it could carry either 18k of bombs or 40 troops)

S.M.79 Sparviero did dual work too, bombing & carrying paratroops - carried torpedoes too...

The russians had something close to the C47,, armed as well.
The Curtiss Commando would also be like a C47 on steroids....much bigger engines.
Short Stirling would be something. Imagine a Lanc with 40 troops
And then...the Messerschmitt GIGANT..muhahhahaa
