Just curious....where does everyone play AH at?
I started playing AH in Okinawa Japan while stationed there.
I currently play AH in Albuquerque, NM.

Actually, I am located in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba, Canada. Before you ask, no, we do not live in igloos, drive dogsleds, wear sealsskin, etc, etc. It ALWAYS cracks me up to see Americans getting off the plane at Winnipeg International Airport in the middle of August wearing parkas and carrying ski equipment. Around here, it hits 90+ F in the summer. Just FYI.... I'm done ranting now... honest. Well, except for....... (trails off, mumbling incoherently)

Cool....I flew one of our planes over the pole from Keflavik Iceland and had to divert into Iqaluit sp? which was pretty far north. Do you have high speed internet access? When I was in Japan all I could get was dialup but didnt have too many problems.

Little known fact regarding high speed internet: the province of Saskatchewan was the first area in North America to offer SDSL and ADSL to the public. Here in portage we have multiple choices: Cable by Shaw Cable, ADSL Sympatico High Speed by Manitoba Telephone, and wireless, which is just starting to show up in Manitoba. No, not satellite, which is laggy as all get out, but true wireless internet.. I think the protocol its based on is called BlueTooth? Anyway, I usually ping the MA at about 75 or so. Without using download accelarators, I can hit 400K down. With a download accelarator, I have hit 1.2 Meg down, but that was just once.

mipoikel has to much time on his hands. If my desk looked that clean. I;'d have alot less hours to play.
But to the question central Michigan univ. for me.
Have computer in office and at home. fly bombers mostly from office and fighters from home.
Now if I could fine a person to muck barn, feed the mustangs, goats,sheep,dogs, cats and the birds then i could fly more. for me its time to bomb HQ if i need to feed animals. or get Estimating or engineering done.

Well I used to live in Grapevine Tx, but am now in Rio Rancho NM. Maby we should set up a few meets and kill a beer or 6, .... At the AW cons I allways brought 35 or so gals of home brew....

I've come to the conclusion that 75% of the pilots online when I'm flying have country-boy Chuck Yeager accents, 10% have British accents, 10% have standard-issue American/Canadian accents, and 5% are "other".
