Ok, like everyone else, I'd heard the rumors of the divinity of Hitech and his lesser angels, and more or less dismissed them.  But when I climbed into the cockpit of the 163, rocketed up to 10,000 in nothing flat, and then heard the thump of those 30mms and saw the muzzle flare in the cockpit, I became a believer.

Just one question though.  The real 163 put out a smoke trail like you wouldn't believe.  I've seen film of it taking off, and I've also read reports from B17 pilots who encountered it.  I don't see this at the moment.  Is it not modelled because of potential frame rate problems?  Are there plans to model it some time further down the line?

Thanks Oed, I had a feeling I'd seen a thread on this and couldn't find it.
