Title: white flashing screen

If I drop to desktop while in game either using alt tab or windows button. When I come back I get a white flashing screen.
 

  AMD 2.0ghz 512 corsair ram radeon 128meg 8500 plutonium drivers windows XP sound blaster live ch controls usb on a ecs motherboard.

I have to Cntl Alt delete then use task manager to quit aces high and start over

I try not to alt tab in and out as I get anomalies too. If the game works fine otherwise I wouldn't worry.  
I used to get a see thru clipboard and no mouse cursor if I did that.
