Title: Can AH recognize abbreviated dot commands?
Post by: Mickey1992 on December 18, 2002, 10:30:03 AM
Can AH recognize abbreviated dot commands?  I am at work and can not test this, so "nevermind" my post if it already does this. :)

Skuzzy, in another post, advised that there is a dot command that brings up the squad MOTD.  It's ".showsquadmotd".

Is it possible (ie. not a lot of work) for AH to recognize unique abbreviated dot commands?  For example, looking at the help file, it looks like ".move" is the only dot command that starts with an "m".  So couldn't I just use ".m 111" to move to field 111?  In Skuzzy's example above, I could just type ".shows" because this would be unique.  Since there are no other dot commands that start with "w", ".wingman" could be ".w" or ".wing".

The actual dot command wouldn't change, but the system would recognize any unique abbreviation.
