JV44 Platzschutzstaffel would like to welcomes its 2 latest members into the Staffel. Wotan, and Kak3 will now be `Rot 2` and `Rot 5`. With their addition the group has taken on a new role in AH, one that has seen the use of squad tactics to a full. 4 might not seem like a lot but we are 2/3's the way to a full roster. A maximum of 6 pilots is the set limit for this Staffel to conform with the historical manning of the Platzschutzstaffel. Once again a Big Salute to these members who will help make JV44 Platzschutzstaffel a known force in AH.

Sheesh I just figured out how to get my rudder to work, almost 2 weeks now flying without it, and still learning the FM's in here. Didn't realize this game was that extensive, steep learning curve as opposed to other flight sims. Brady has shown me a lot so far in here, along with the other knights flyers ask a question and you get a response which is encouraging. Cya soon Willie. quick aar for our first night with all 4 flying.
Sturm Brady and I upped to hit fuel at 53 49 43 42 41. Result 53 42 43 41 fuel was reduced to 25 I lost an eng to typhie so rtb'ed leaving 49 up. We then (kak3 included now) attacked 43 and captured it then 24 and captured it then 42 and captured it I also had time to grab an m3 to capture p40 with everything up except ack. 4 guys working together within 2 hrs.
Was great fun.

Man you realize how long ago that was? I have to say that was the best time ever in a flight sim, the fights were non stop and the action was great. Not to mention Trekky I mean Borg's ability to errr a how would you say it? Oh he was the best (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif) Salute m8, haven't seen trbo or Kaze in awhile since FA2, bout 2 months ago. LOL JG44_Glunz man those days. Cya around here m8 hopefully not on my 6!!!

AKSeaWulfe, it is doctored screenshot, not genuine. Atleast to topmost fighters have been mirrored which can be seen if you look air intakes.

We always flew in standard Vee formation, doctored (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif) Maybe but we did try adn fly in formation in practice, which lasted about 15 seconds. I believe it was heltr or trbo that did that pic. Not sure it has been along time over 3 years so memory slips away.

OK AG and JG44 is the reason there's a air_squad . AG (Strum now) and TK20 shot my bellybutton off in the rated room in CFS , so I had to find me a friend to wing with and practice . Well sid was the best buddy , still remember the night we beat you and TK (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)
This sure is a nice flight sim ain't AG ?

Ohhhh my mistake. They looked like Hurricanes to me, that's why I thought they were exhaust not intakes on both sides. Well it's done well enough to be believable to the untrained eye. :-)

Spro, I am addicted to say the least. Wish I would have listened to a few others in here and started awhile back. Just amazing where this game can go in the future.

They were the best turning plane in CFS , but we started doing last alive games were you had to fly apart before calling "fight on" . (About 10,000 ft , climbing for all your worth (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif) )
That was the end of the Hurri (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif) Two players on RW in FW190's were damn hard to beat . Try them fm in "hard" mode on CFS1 .
While not like in here , FW was a damn piss poor turning squeak there (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/biggrin.gif) But the guns (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/biggrin.gif) and speed is what made it work , as you all know . We were , are catching up to most of you all .
