Just got off the phone with tech support at HTC.  I had a problem with initialization failure not related to soundcard issues.  Just wanna say Tech Support was outstanding....thanks HTC for prioritizing the important stuff!

Oh ya, fixed my problem, simple reinstall of program took care of it...it sucks being computer illiterate
