Title: Anyone need a 190 driver?

Currently flying for 995th Rookbirds, but want to be part of a more active and organized squad. Been in AH for the last four months, but has been AWOL the last month due to ISP change. Have VOX, HOTAS, and a decent puter. Love to fly high and fast 190’s, but I fly with any kind of pilots, not just LW.

Seeking active, organized and fun squad to fly with on squadnights and every day, preferably on euro-time and flying for Rooks.

We fly all planes in the MA and fly for Knights (hope u can make the switch):D , and we have a member called Dawvgrid who loves 190's too and hes from Denmark. I live in the UK along with Koba, Zanshin and Wilfred, and Kronos and Snogoose are in germany. There are others too such as Skull, Catiso, Sailor and Bounzer.

We are involved in all the special events that take place at the weekends such as CAP and TOD and these are our main squad nights. Also we fly in events such as Battle Of Midway, and we have signed up for the Battle of Niemen which starts in Febuary.

I must say that it is becoming more and more tempting to switch to Knights. Are there NO Rook squads out there that could use another pilot??? If not I’m prolly going to apply to the 272nd or KG-Nord.

There are plenty of good Rook Squads out there. If your looking for Squads that fly primarily LW Iron, Wotan's 3./Jg2, JB42's III Jabostaffel and Wraith's JG27 Afrika are all good Squads. If your looking for more of a general purpose Squad, your welcome to check out our Nightmares' Squad (link below in my sig). I personally fly the FWa5 a lot, but the Nightmares are pretty independent as a whole, and fly whatever they dang well please :). Please stay Rook, we need all the good pilots we can get ;).

Post by: Reschke on December 22, 2002, 12:51:13 PM: VF-17 is sticking with the Rook side for a while. While we don't normally fly Euro time we are recruiting and looking for some good sticks. As for the LW squadrons mentioned above they are some of the best I have been around in many moons of online flying and you could not go wrong checking those guys out.

I run a LW squad and always looking for good pilots first, then plane preference later. Since I have flown a few hops with you, I know you are both good pilot and good teamplayer. Post by: JB42 on December 24, 2002, 01:19:34 PM: Our Squadnights are Friday and Sunday nights. Like i said, you can find someone, most likely me or 73, almost anytime. We do participate in TODs and CAPs and lets not forget Snapshots. Because the squad is relatively small, we fly in the events as VMF-101 Nightmares. If I can get 1 or 2 more guys to commit to them, I will start registering the Jabostaffel in them. I do hope you are seriously considering joining. We'd love to have you onboard.

The TOD last sunday and we were low on numbers with the festive season so theres always room, plus its always a great laugh.
