With 1.11, once again I'm dazzled by the genius and beauty of Aces High. It's like an incredible watch, a microcity, a beehive, a universe, an inner Earth tale, both whatever the individual player wants to make it and whatever the overall community and design team will allow.
Playing the game is fun. Studying the setup and help file is not only educational but serendipitous. Researching the vehicles and tactics the game is based on is immersive. Most the times I think I've found something new, I realize HT and crew and other Aces High player experts already have been there.
What hooked me from the beginning was the ingenious view control. For the first time in a flight simulator, I really felt I was flying, thanks to the ability to customize views the way seating position is adjusted in an automobile.
That was merely prelude to comparable innovations everywhere. There is always something new to learn or do in Aces High. And it gets better every release.
Thanks for one of the best holiday gifts anywhere, HiTech and crew. Not to exaggerate, but obviously Aces High is the best game in the history of the universe!
