Title: Request to HTC: Icons off in Dueling Arena possible?

1. can it be done?
2. does anyone object to icons off in the dueling arena or some other nonused arena?

Maybe let it be a controlled on/off feature in the DA, but make it selectable by each set of fields.

i remember in the TA icons were disabled from the host.

was that a bug?

The currently available icon settings are:

Long: Enemies and friendlies 6k
Short: Enemies 3k, friendlies 10k

The CM's can change the settings in the DA and SEA, but not in the MA or TA.

I haven't heard of that incident. Might have been a test or accident by HTC?

i believe the beginning of 1.05 the icons in the TA were turned off completely from the host.

they were back on within a day i think.

No, I don’t want the icons turned off in the DA or the TA.

If you want them off, make an agreement with your opponent.

What Zippatuh said. You don't like icons, then don't use them. You have no reason to limit others use of them or deny others use of them.

Having said that, in previous visits, I have agreed in the TA and DA to drop icons for a fight. It's a nice change but I don't want that OPTION dictated to me and deny me the full use of those arena's just because you don't like them.

I remember that day in TA Cit, was a lot of fun  (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif) But I'd have to agree, most wouldn't want it yet. Maybe it's something HT would think of trying later on down the road if the subscriber base gets big enough.
