Title: Logitech wingman force feedback 3D joystick...
Post by: noodles on December 22, 2002, 11:06:05 PM
Hi guys..

I bought logitech wingman 3D stick a few days ago.
But now very disappointed about its loosen center position.

even with full force option at window setting panel, still the center of this got loose and I cannot take a precise aiming that I took with MS sidewinder2 before.

Is this a ordinary feature of Logitech joystick?

Should I take refunding? or Is there an alternative way for fixing the center?

I did not have the Force Feedback stick, but my Logitech Wingman 3D lasted for 2 months before the spiking got so bad I could no longer use it.

In respones to my question about Thrustmaster spiking problem Easycore sent me this.
"Thrustmaster
My Thrustmaster pots didn't hold calibration long (recalibration every hour) but they lasted longer than that.

Since you're having trouble right out of the box, I recommend you exchange it or pick a different stick.

I don't think the perfect stick hasn't been built yet so I'm still looking. I replaced my year old, 800 hour Thurstmaster with a Saitek which is much smother in the X and Y axis but there are issues here too. Chapstick is required on the friction plate of the X45 to keep it operating smoothly. Hat switches on both brands seem to go out first."

take it back immediatly.  They know its trash.  You will not be able to fly anydamm thing with it, even if the force feedback is disabledd
