Question: Why do drones suddenly explode for no reason? I was on auto-climb, no radical movement or speed change..and they just fell back and exploded?

Har, har...is this the O'Club? :p
Seriously, twice I have lost my formation for some reason. I'm tyring to figure out what that reason is.....

Did you engage auto climb directly after taking off?
When you do so, sometimes the third drone has no chance to catch up with the lead bomber, and after lagging behind for a long time, they fall behind and blow up.

Nice one, Thrawn. :D

With it given that you didnt leave them upon takeoff (you need to wait till they start their catch up before you change heading...its ususally real quick 10 sec or so after gear up):
I have found that bombers that cross the 14k wind barrier can sometimes start to fall behind and never catch up....after a while they fall too far behind and BOOM! I think its when you are flying with the wind...but Im not sure, I just know its happened to me.
