Title: ETO SETUP REBALANCED according to Jarbo
Post by: jarbo on December 23, 2002, 02:58:37 PM: HERE IS THE NEW SETUP TO TRY TO CAPTURE MY ORIGINAL SETUP:

Late War Europeran Theater: ETO Terrain.
(**NOTE: Do Not Capture A38, it will mess up Arena**)

(ROOK) All Brit/Land Based Allied Planes Available (Navy Rides Omitted)
(BISH) All German Rides Enabled

CV Task groups will no have aircraft enabled.
CVs represent destroyer groups w/ LVTs/PTs enabled.

LVTs disabled on Land Bases
TIGR at German only
All GVs for both sides

Me262 available at 22,23,24,25,26,28,29,30,32,33
Me163 avaialble at 30,32,33,35
Tempest NOT available at 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8
Spit XIV NOT available at 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8

This is to create ample 262s and 163s to combat any allied push deep into Germany. Less "uber" plane fights can be had down South. Take the land to create the fight you want :)

I am considering pushing them all to an out of the way corner of the map.

What are your thoughts on the destroyer groups (flight disabled CVs) WRT my dilemma?

Excellent thought Jarbo...!:cool: Glad you finally came around to speaking it out in here... Destroyer on preset patrols... what a novel idea.:D Go for it.
The only snag I can see with having CV's in with 'em is the 5 inchers and them bunker buster guns on the cruisers. If thos can be made non-manable, then IMHO by all means go for it.!

See, you CAN learn new things after all... ;)

yeah dump 'em off. annoying as hell and no true impact on gameplay except for the random deaths one encounters from ack. that, plus weenies who run to them for protection instead of learning how to fly.
