Why yes, i have a great book. it is entitled P-51 Mustang in Action There is a whole series of these books on a wide range of different things (rangins from P-40s to LRRP's in vietnam) and they provide many great details. I especially like them because the centerfold (its pilot porn is what it is) is a 'poster' if you will of different models and paint schemes. These come in handy with the rules of 2610 scale r/c combat where your aircraft have to have a true to life paint scheme. I have the P-51 book and the F4U Corsair book, as my fleet of R/C combat planes is made up of a majority of these two aricraft. Lots of info, engines, modifications, tidbits and factoids.

depends very much what you are after here.
If you are looking for some great recounted tales of WW2 pilots who flew the p51 then you are looking for a certain 'kind' of book.
There are many that deal with the performance and build of an aircraft but say nothing about those who flew them. Then there are those that tell you great stories but fail to provide the interesting ingformation you was after.
I have a few books on the P51. they dont have many good stories of WW2 but they do have diagrams and background to how they were made and used.
so what do you want?
specs /performance and how many were built etc?
or
Stories from the pilots who flew them, maybe with overveiw of how they changed the war etc?
if we know what youre after we can recommend the appropriate book :)

these all have a lot of photographs in them, I am sure that there are a lot more books at amazon.com the best part is that you can buy them used and pay a lot less than a new book. they also ship much quicker when you buy them used. new out of print books are hard to find. I have bought about 50 books from amazon and over half were used from a 3rd party that I purchased through amazon.com
