Has this game ever tried a 2 sided war? Seems to me what happens is team with lower numbers gets ganged to death.
Even with new perk system, you don't see to many changing sides, It seems oppsite effect more jumping to large team side.
Wouldn't a 2 sided war, Even things out? Just using Warbirds as example(I know this is not warbirds and most hate that name) It was 2 sided but had problem of side inbalance because allied or axis planes. But alot of guys would change to under dogs. Wouldn't this end the Milkruns. Because with 2 sides not everyone thined out .
Hate to see a team flying against 2 sides with 50players plus and only 23 rooks. But don't want to change sides and be stuck 12 hrs as a rook when squadmates come in.
Guess Point is wouldn't it solve problem if 2 sided. just think
bishop/rooks or rook knights or bishop / knights or 2 new team names. Would be fun.
ok let the name calling begin, Just remember tho I'm 6'4" 320lbs and we may meet one day :)

If you are who I think you are then this is a nice troll ;)
If not then from your obvious experience of Warbirds you will know that whatever number of sides you have you will always have one team being beat upon whether it was the old green/red/purple/gold setup or three sided war (as in AH), two sided or Axis vs Allies. What HTC has done is tried to make a system that encourages even teams and so far it appears to be working as everytime I have logged on the teams have been roughly even.

I can vouch for Rob here Revvin.
I've flown with him alot, and he is a compitent, mature, courteous player. He's a real team player and a good man to wing up with.

Two and four sides guarentee a gangbang in my experiance.. Three seems to be about the best. You can make two work if you have very low numbers tho and everyone is 'mature'. No one is mature when the numbers are over about 100.

How about if HT sets up a default that evens teams upon entering? I know this may effect squads but I'm sure in this computer age they can make it work were a squad can stay together.

Was wondering from longtime AH players was this ever 2 sided?

No Rod, it has been a three-sided war sim since the beta days........I flew the last four beta tours, always has been three sides to the equation.

2 sides is a big no no!
it's not uncommon when i log into CT to leave straight away because the sides are completely lopsided, 10 on one side and 30 on the other.

I fly in the CT almost exclusively. While this does happen, maybe about 1/2 of the time numbers are fairly even. The difference with the CT is that more people tend to like flying Allied planes, and flying for the good guys. The lopsidedness is due to plane/side choice.
