Title: Help! Combat Theatre & Training Arena CTD everytime

Hi

Every time I enter either the Combat Theatre or the Training Arena and attempt to take-off I get CTD everytime.  This applies to every type of aircraft and every airfield.  I've reinstalled the terrain involved but still makes no difference.  The terrains do work offline I might add.

The Main Arena & Special Events Arena are not affected.

Any suggestions or ideas??

before going into AH, run dxdiag and turn ur sound card acceleration down a notch, to 3/4

Thanks for the suggestion but that doesn't work either. :(

Strange how the MA, SEA & Offline are fine yet the CT & TA always CTD?

Sounds like terrain issues as the SEA, TA, and CT are all on the same server.

I always CTD in those arens if I have been logged into the MA before. AH doesn't like 2 terrains loaded in the same session.

The terrains will work fine offline and the Baltic terrain works fine in the MA, unless it's slightly different to the one in use in the TA?

Are there any setup files in the HTC/AH/settings folder that might be corrupted? (it is a fairly recent complete install, plus it's only been playing up since ver 1.11.

Saintaw suggested deleting the squad folder within AH and it did the job!  :)  I can now fly the TA, CT and DA! :)

I've found out when switching arenas, it's best to completely shut down AH first and then restart it and then go to the arena you wanted to switch to.  Otherwise I always get a CTD if I just exit out of one arena and enter another without restarting AH.
