HMS Prince of Wales arriving in Singapore on December 2nd, 1941.

She was sunk on December 10th, 1941, becoming the first battleship to be sunk by aircraft while under way.  She was the last Allied capital ship active in the western Pacific at that time.

She was a great looking ship, and is probably my favorite battleship.  She only had a 9 month career, but it was very active.  Winston Churchill said that the single biggest shock he recieved the whole war was on hearing that she'd been sunk.

The above edit was to add my personal comment and the Churchill note, not to change my call on the ship's identity.  I had no doubts of that the moment I saw it.
