TBF1C characteristic info.  I have all this in large size plus photo copies if anyone is interested.  I also have more on the TBM but don't know if any are interested.  F6F and SBD are next to research.

Hi Dnil,

>F6F and SBD are next to research.

I assume you're familiar with

http://www.history.navy.mil/branches/org4-8.htm

They have performance characteristics pages for F6F-5, TBF and SBD (and others), though the manual pages you posted don't appear there.

Highly interesting, by the way :-)

Hi Dnil,

>I also have more on the TBM but don't know if any are interested.

If you had any information on the "Torpedo Director" mentioned on the manual page you posted, it would be highly appreciated! :-)

Torpedo sights have been puzzling us for quite a while, as you can see in this thread on the TBF's Japanese counterpart:

loadout options dont mention tiny tim rockets, which i've read in a reliable source were used in WWII by TBMs (maybe after that document was publish?)...i know tiny tim was used by corsairs too, but not if it was in WWII combat ops...
