Over a year old and as far as eye candy goes nothing can touch it not even CFS III which has Spits :) and a poor flight model :)

Spits will be in one of addons following the FB. So far XIV (bubble canopy and clipped wings) and IX are in the works.

2 things I don't like about Il2: System requirements and the fact that the Sturmovik can is the best plane in the game. Talk about overmodelling your country's planes :P

there has been some grumbling for jap planes.  I continue to incourage these grumblers at every opertunity.  'cause you can't have jap planes without a hog to hunt them in ;)

These are only exterior 3d models, ready to get implemented. There is also cockpit left to do, as well as various textures, damage etc. Developers will do the FM. Takes time.

Aces High has gotten 19 new planes/vehicles this year.
Just outta curiousity, how many has IL2 delivered this year?

FB will add 30 new flyable aircraft, and 23 AI. Not sure about what patches have added though.

Noticed a slight variation in the rendering between a cockpit in IL2/FB and AH?

And to add to Creamo's 30/23 :

New ships including the Russian battleship Marat, Russian cruisers Aurora and Kirov and German cruiser Niobe (but not limited to)

New AI GVs.

And my favorites :

Dynamic campaigns

New damage modeling

New engine management relating to radiators, superchargers and fuel mixture control for different altitudes

But I hate those stupid comparaisons who did what. They are meaningless as AH and IL2/FB are like apples and oranges.
