My question is how can i get voices louder.
I have turned down engine sounds and wind but most of the time voice is very hard for me to hear over the game sounds. I have voice turned all the way up in the game. I have a turtle beach santa cruz sound card that has its own control panel where I can adjust sound levels. Can I increase sound for voice only there if so what type of sound is voice coming in as? midi?

First, you can turn your mic up in the Windows settings and also under the Aces High settings. If both are turned up than you should have no problem. I hope this helps!

look in your mic settings and see if it has 20db gain selection,if it does turn it on. hope this helps, it did on mine

I have the Sound Blaster Card but this may help.
If you've done everything you can in AH it's time to look for a control panel. It may be hidden.
If you have a little Speaker on the task bar at the bottom of your desktop, try right clicking it to access your sound controls. That's the way the Sound Blaster software works and I haven't found any other way to bring it up.
Expect to find several properties.
Try setting the Volume all the way up, mute everthing except Wave/Direct. Experiment.

it is very tedious and you lose immersion (ESPECIALLY with Mitsu's sounds) but you can goto setup/sounds and turn down each individual sound while leaving the "master" to 100% ... then all voices come in clear (*some may BOOM loud but the quiet ones will be able to be heard)

thanks for the replies turning down effects had a bit of a positive effect.
