Embarrassing show tonight Rooks. How can we get better?
I'll start: When we got a solid lead in bases, and have beaten down one foe to two bases, shouldn't we just hold what we got? Perhaps not capture, but surely furballers can defend with the best, can't they?

It gets harder and harder as enemy pilots have fewer and fewer bases to fly from. Its relatively easy to pork a base with 5 pilots flying from it, but how do u kill a base with 40-50 pilots scrambling all over the place in Spits, 190Ds, La7s and N1K2s?

It's just a reset. I try like everyone else does to help my side, but if it dosen't work...oh well. And it's quite late, I'm not sure at this time of day everyone's thinking of how great it would be to get some free perks. Enjoy the fighting, do what you can...and leave it at that.

My point exactly; When we are in the lead and have beaten one country down to two bases, WE should do mass CAP missions and hold our fronts, shouldn't we?

Actually, it's easy IF you can get about 30 people to work together.
First, you send in about 10 high-speed jabos at about 10k. Their mission is two-fold. Bomb what they can, but draw defenders to the deck. Immediately behind, you bring in 10 - 12 Stukas with 1800 kg bombs, with a few escorts screening above and ahead.
These Ju 87s should be at 15-16k. 30 seconds after arriving over the field, the field is dead. Every hanger is down, fuel and ammo knocked out. Unless the Stukas are intercepted short of the field, it is all but impossible to stop them once they begin their dives.
I know that it works because my squad did it about 10 days ago.
My regards,
Widewing

Thats when you come in with a large wave of bombers up high to hit the fighter hangers.Since most fighters will be down low. Then have a few m3 and c47's waiting till most of the fighters that were left are dead. Then send in the troop transport in and wala a captured base game over; We get extra perk points .
LOL atleast it sounds easy.
