Post by: NUTTZ on December 29, 2002, 09:04:12 PM: terrrain editor crashes when I hit "build" on all maps. Any ideas?

I put in HQ and a field for every side and hit build and it crashes.
checked No errors.

Do you mean previous map made before this TE version?
Or
New terrains that you are building with this TE

What if....just for testing!

you start the Editor right now
goto File and then New
make a New map called TEST
shut down the TE and Save while Exiting
Restarted the TE
and hit BUILD

what happens?

Post by: ramzey on December 30, 2002, 01:43:28 AM: most of my troubles with TE was inncorect bitmap /rgb/, u must be sure all bitmaps are indexed color. Allways chk that twice.
If TE crash u , first walk to source bitmap directory and chk all new bitmaps./momtimes old too/

After I deleted all my strat, i realized I had an object skin saved in 24 bit. 8( same prob u had it sounds.
1. creat file
2. save file
3. MAKE A FRIGGIN BACKUP!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you got alot of stuff in your texsrc folder, one quick check is to rename the folder ........ like texsrc1 for example.

Now if you Build and don't crash then you got something wrong in the texsrc.
