NOt sure if this is the right forum for this, but I need some help.
I found this on my computer ..."Winservices" and "Tcpsvs32"
I use Ctrl Alt delete and shut them down, but as soon as i open any application they start running again. I understand now that "Winservice.exe" is actually a virus, and i suspect that Tcpsvs32 is related to it somehow. They were not there a couple of weeks ago. The only problem they are causing right now (at least that I can see) , is that everything takes longer to open. I know this is continually running in the background. My Kids (all teenagers..damn them) had Kazaa installed and were doing quite a bit of sharing etc. I dont like Kazaa (hate shareware/adware/spyware etc.) and uninstalled it. However kids also have something called Kazaa lite, and i cant seem to get rid of that either. I think this stuff came from Kazaa, but dont know for sure (I am basiscally a computer iliterate).
So, the dumb question is , How do I get rid of this Winservices and Tcpsvs32 crap. And how do I get this Kazaa watermelon off my computer? And will any of you please take my damn teenagers off my hands? (at least till they are all 18 and have jobs)
I am running Windows 98SE on 550mhz, 160mb ram
I would sure appreciate any/all advice. And would really appreciate "laymens" terms. (I am a total pooter idiot).

You can get a free virus scanner at http://www.grisoft.com/
Also, Kazaa Lite is a "Hacked" version of kazaa, with the spyware removed. There are a number of worms and viruses that spread through all of the p2p networks exploiting user stupidity.
EVERY computer should have a virus scanner, and ad-aware run regularly.

It's totally unrelated to the Kazaa spyware.

Kazaa has caused more problems on more people's computers than I can count. For starters, one friend can't open AOL more than once without restarting the computer or else the internet connection (modem) won't hold, and disconnects until restarted. This was on a brand new computer with XP home. My father's computer back home in NY has 98 SE, and Kazaa caused the 'my computer' window to open every time he turns it on. Very annoying and while I understand windows 98 kills itself over time, I see this program as the direct cause for these problems. I would recommend a complete reformat and reinstalling windows. Then you can tell the kids they should find another gnutella-esque program... Just some thoughts.

the virus its self is not related to kazaa but rather your teenagers while stupidly trying to get a game for free downloaded a virus...get them win mx if they must download music (no spyware and you can only get music of it) but get rid of kazaa even if you have to do it manually...
gator is spyware to...dont get it if you cant remember your passwords your doing something wrong and should get a peiece of paper

Thank you all for the prompt replies. Mcafee had the solution for me and my computer is now clean. Also, have updated my virus scanner. Kids have been "updated" as well. (however still thinking of trading them in on a good set of rudder pedals).
