Wilbus you said you were in the Navy !

ROFLMAO!
Yeah I know, Swedish navy only have very small ships compared to most countries. However, as we say we're only defencive, and only have costal waters to protect, these types of ships are much more usefull then any larger ship would be (meaning most US ships and other Atlantic countries).
Look at a map of Sweden and most of the coast is filled with Islands, basicly only the Scandinavia has this type of coast.
no place for large ships near Sweden, specially not if you indend to access the Eastern coast as the only way in is a very small gap between Sweden and Denmark.
Btw, that nice little ship is stealth, it's also very very which makes it harder for subs to hear it.

Cav, there is a nice story about the largest Swedish ship visiting USA. The story is true aswell.
The largest Swedish ship is a bit over 100 meters long so it's very very small compared to internaional standards. It's not a combat ship, more of a Suply and command ship.
When it arived near US it was joined up by a US Coast Guard boat, which was quite much bigger then this Swedish Navy ship (bit embarresing). Also, when it arived to the Harbor the US had apparently moved a Carrier when they heard "Sweden's biggest ship is coming to visit".
