My favorite part was how the Niners got momentum.
The long pass to Owens for the TD.
THEN the 2 pointer.
THEN the touchback.
THEN the stuff on 1st down.
THEN the broken up pass.
THEN the sack.
THEN the short punt.
THEN the 15 yard penalty on the fair catch.
They had eight plays in a row go exactly how they needed them.  The crowd was going absolutely nuts.  "Ya just knew" they were going to come back and win it.  I'm a Raider fan but that was beautiful.

The 49ers defense collapsed obviously winded on the final drive and the Giants had a relative easy field goal attempt. Dipshit makes another bad snap, coaches forget to instruct the holder what to do when dipshit diddlys up again, ala spike the ball. Lol, pitiful.

Didn't even matter if he spiked it because the love muffin linemen (all of 'em) ran downfield.  Total mental breakdown.  That's "momentum" for you, psychological effect on both teams.

How could they run down field if the ball was spiked, and better yet, why would they if it was spiked rather than the guy running like a fool?

This ought to be intersting.

I dunno.  I think they were dumb enough to run in either case.  But yeah if the guy spikes the ball it gives them less time to get downfield.  Refs will give you some slack as long as it looks like you are blocking.

You're still bitter about the Pack aren't you.
Time for your "MVP" to hang it up.  I can't imagine any other player getting away with giving up on a fumble like that.

dumbprettythang Giants. I was hoping they would get to play the Eagles for the NFC, against their real offence, but no, they had to go and blow one of the biggest playoff leads ever. How they managed to do this is beyond me, but I guess any Giants loss is a good one.  I'd offer my condolences, but I hate the Gmen. Have a nice off season fellas :p

Funky, God Bless ya, and it's DVD time in the living room, so I gotta be brief.

But "I dunno. I think they were dumb enough to run in either case. But yeah if the guy spikes the ball it gives them less time to get downfield. Refs will give you some slack as long as it looks like you are blocking.
... is the most stupid, silly defense to a simple wrong assumption by yourself, and comical.

And why go into the other personal attacks… you can go there but it will be for my entertainment bbs value in the end I assure.

And now don't worry yourself about how me and my wife met and are happy and together. You wouldn’t understand, my stiff tube socked brother!

I'm just f'in with you.
I know it was a stupid defense.  Like I never posted anything stupid before.
Have a good one.

And it was supposed to be comical.

it was really bright around here for the whole first half, i could barely see the tv with the blinds drawn- it felt like siesta time and seemed that way on the field too.

i knew when it started getting dark and foggy the 9ers would snap back- that and the sideline shot of TO talkig to garcia- you know the one? i knew that was the look of a guy that intended to make some plays-

what a game, my heart's still racing, two great games in a row i can hardly take it :)

I saw the game, 2 dweeby foreign questions, how much does that guy get paid?

The Niner's defense sure as hell ain't nothing like the days of Ronnie Lott, Keena Turner, and Eric Wright.   The Niners will not make it to the championship game with that defense..........

I managed to force myself to watch a little of these wildcard games this weekend.   Nothing  i saw resembled the NFL of the 60's, 70's, 80's.   Half of these players couldn't have made the rosters of the teams of those days.  They are good at "dancing", tho............

Offsetting penalties cancel each other out.

Uh...<> wrong Cabby, Players today are not only bigger, stronger and faster than players of yesteryear, but they are also more dedicated to nutrition and conditioning than ever before. There isn't a single player today who couldn't make the roster of a 60s-70s-80s club. LOL It sounds like life has passed you by Cabby. So nostalgic:)

Actually, you can't have a pass interference on an ineligible receiver.
The penalties didn't really cancel each other out.

True... didn't realize that the guy that got dragged down was ineligible to receive.

So, why wasn't the guy eligible to recieve a pass?  I watched the game, but know nothing about football.

Lots of good football today.
Never seen a strong football team collaps like the giants did..Garcia made them think about one more thing on defence and they folded totally.
The steelers spectators that left at the begining of the third quarter must feel real dumb.

the ABC coverage yesterday was the WORST. bad games..bad coverage. the first game looked like it was filmed with  a hand digital camera.
