Title: Two monitors?

How many people have two monitors? It would be nice to have the radar and message log on a second screen.

SOB uses two monitors. One for AH and the other for Windows.
I have an extra monitor and want to do this, but I need a PCI video card.

SOB will give me one.

I don't think you can split the game up.  2 monitors allows you to do things like have your RogerWilco window open, or e-mail window.. stuff like that.

ohhhhhhhh, i just had a thought (scary, isn't it?):  put a monitor on each side of my desk, in front, and behind..and if i really wanted to be stoopid, i could put one on the ceiling.  then i could turn my head when i used the view hat on my joystick to look around...giving me that "realistic" touch to the game.

I've got two monitors running, but AH doesn't really see the second one.  It's basically good for putting up tactical maps, roger wilco, porn, etc.  Unfortunately, to access the second monitor with your mouse, you have to ALT TAB out of AH which makes it difficult to browse for porn.  For this reason alone, I firmly believe that HT should set second monitor functionality as priority one for AH!   :)

One way to do this, albiet not a cost efficient method, would be to have a second system with another AH account. Then just invite yourself to fly and use it for a second view.

I tried that with my son's account just for grins. While it does work it seemed to cause a lot of microwarping on my primary PC.

One unexpected benefit, the joining PC does not suffer any g effects, no black outs. Some might consider this cheating  ;)
