Not only was I privelaged to work on this airplane, I had an opportunity to photograph the Classic Fighters' new-build Me 262 on its first flight.
Enjoy

Mig,
I work at the Museum of Flight in Seattle, and as you probably know, our restoration facility is close to the Me-262 project. I haven't seen the Me-262 yet, but plan on getting up there soon.
By the way, we have our two new "full motion" flight simulators open to the public in the museum now. One's a F-18 and the other's a P-51. They're a blast, and as long as you don't get motion sickness, you ought to give them a twirl. They're basically a large video game that's full motion. They do barrel rolls and loops and anything else you could do in a real plane. Well worth the ride.

Stony, I got a chance to "fly" the two sims during their first public trials. It was a great addition to have the practice sims off to the side so that the people "on deck" could learn the controls. I definately recommend getting up to the 262 hangars for a tour. Its not a big place but the work is beyond amazing.
Rip, send me an email thru the company at John H Clark. Lost your email during an outlook archive.

Cool that you've gotten to fly them. The plans for the near future is to program the two sims so they can dogfight each other. It should prove to be a "kick in the pants" if you're able to do that. They also will eventually be able to program a lot of different planes into the program.
