Just fer the record....
We don't actively recruit. We watch who is flying around us, who we talk to online, who seems to fit our mold basically...
Our number one premise is that you enjoy flying, and more specifically, flying with our squaddies... We prefer a more mature pile-it as our ages are from the mid 20s to around 40. We hail from all parts of the US and Canada and we have had a few foreigners (Austrailia and Belgium) from time to time. A good sense of humor is a must, and thick skin is almost as important.
We take the game seriously, but not to. It is after all, just a game.
We fly any and all planes, but lean to the LW stuff because they are a more challenging ride.
We are also some pretty loose cannons... Yes we do squad nights, yes we fly wing, yes we do the scenario stuff from time-to-time... But not always to ALL of the above.
I personally have been associated with this squadron for almost five years now - I know AH hasn't been around that long. I started in WarBirds with the original members.
We've always been about having fun with the game and enjoying each other's company.
Interested? send me an email and we'll try to wing-up.
See Yas Up!

Hblair,
I'm writing this to you in regards to one of your member's that got pretty upset with me today. I've been on flight sims for quite some time and have never had anyone get so upset at me.
Gman...one of your members shot an enemy's tail off that was attacking a B-17 that I was protecting in my Mossie. I pinged the plane before he was engaged by Gman and apparently had his tail shot off. It was dusk out and I didnt see that the plane was disabled. I just swooped back and laid everything I had at him...exploding him and getting the kill. Now I don't know if my earlier pings did much but I doubt it.
Obviously Gman was quite pissed and was talking on the voice com (although I didn't hear what he was saying). He then went on the script typing venting his frustration about the steal. Calling me a dweeb and such. I told him to get a life and concentrate on his SA. (He got killed shortly after that). Anyhow the more I thought about it the more I felt bad so I repeatedly tried to contact him, even sending a direct message that was ignored. I got no response. Anyhow I just wanted to have you guys tell Gman that I didn't intentionally steal his kill and I apologize if it ruffled his feathers. I don't like to have any problems with fellow Rooks since we have to rely on each other to fight effectively. You Assasins have always been great cyber-pilots and I want to avoid any problems in the future.
Thanks,

P.S. My roommate often uses my account in AH while I'm out so if you see me online it may not be me at the helm.
