Some type of permanant squelch command? Im hoping for a command as simple as
/.permsquelch anton
:anton has been permanantley squelched

Possibly it could squelch any & all transmitions from targeted subject, including ch1, ch5,country channel, & range radio.

The reason I ask is, the amount of unwanted chat is often overwhelming.
And the number of offenders is growing daily it seems. If I take the time to squelch them individually, I spend about 3-5 minutes waiting for all the "target subjects" to reveal their presence, squelching them 1by1 in a manner similar to zapping pop-up ads.

Hello HT,

Please let me stay with my friends together on chanel 1,without beeing forced by some BAD boys to read their dangerous crap.

I guess they are the only ones in the game who love it, NOT to have a perma-squelch function.Because this safes the audience for them.

It is hard to read in the chat things like i.e. 'The germans showed the jews the right way'.And when i answer them :'Stop talking roadkill' ,i get a profanity message!

Something needs to be done!

Great idea. Let's see what if anything gets done to alleviate this problem besides the good ol' boy network of moderators that squelch everyone but their buddies.

Amen! I actually max'd out the number of people allowed to be squelched. Yes, it's possible!

I don't know what can be done, but it's tough to get info on your target with all the garbage being typed in. It's like these idiots need a chatroom all to themselves.

My two cents......perma squelch would be a nice touch.  I have many I enjoy conversing with who are knit and rook.  Good people, otherwise I wouldn't enjoy it.

We also have those who clutter up the text buffer with occaisional name calling, temper tantrums, and accusations of cheating,and even racial slurs which I don't tolerate on any level.  I taught my children better, I guess some parents didn't do that.  I enjoy a little banter....but there are some whose sole purpose is to belittle or insult people.

Permasquelch would be nice  ;)
