Title: Ju88 S-1, S-2 & S-3 vs Ju88 A-4

1943 versions of the ju88 with 550 made vs 7000 A models made

faster and more horsepower than a4
(same BMW 801 engines as 190A)but ventral gondola removed

S-1 1730hp bmw801G engines
S-2 1810hp turbocharged bmw801jt engines
S-3 2125hp GM1 jumo 213-a12 engines

S-1 max speed 379mph at 26k
initial climb 1804fpm
36k ceiling


A-4 max speed 292mph at 17k
initial climb 1312fpm
27k ceiling


perhaps theres room for the lae war ju88?
after all we have a B-17G not a B-17F

Remember the S models had up to only 2 dorsal MG 131 for defense.
