Hi lads, I’m sure a few of you know of Air Attack, but for the benefit of those who don’t it is basically FA 1.5, we currently play over german servers, it is free to play apart from ISP charges if you have any. They've been losing massive numbers of players to ZAXXON (re-released this last Sept) and dire times gives way to desperate measures   :)

Tried FA 2 shortly after I started AH.  Downloaded it, installed it, played it for 30mins then deleted it.  I don't think FA 1.5 would be anymore appealing.

Steve, Air Attack has been peddled in here before (recently), and it crashed and burned.  Please refrain from dragging us through all that again.  Post a link in the O'club if you like but this isn't the most appropriate spot, okay?

Thanks Westy, what's it all about.

I always thought the original ZAXXON was a cool game to play, I just couldn't play it worth a crap  :)

I loved zaxxon... I also held the record for Asteroids on the Atari over at the local childrens hospital here (scores written on a wall in the ward).  Set it back in 1993 while my brother was in there.  I was playing the same game for about 1.5hours.  Racked up about 1.5 million points or something like that.  Don't think it would have been beaten.  :)

I tried the game couldn't map views to joystick, didn't even know what keyboard commands were becuase all the instructions were in german . Half the time I was flying around with no cockpit art and this anoying atari music blaring. People were telling me to go to www.whatever (http://www.whatever)  go here go there download this, Bah screw it . When they get their toejam together and it's all in one download let me know . I know it's free and all but it's too much of a pain in the arse to even install .
