Title: Getting game to run
Post by: AKWeav on January 10, 2003, 03:12:35 PM
Loaded AH in a friends PC, and we get an error message when trying to launch the game that reads: "Ordinal 12 could not be located in the dynamic link library DSOUND.dll."

Any suggestions?

If you have tried installing directx it's possible that the soundcard is too old to support the directx version AH requires to work.

If you haven't downloaded Dx9, do it now.

You need to load DX8.1b or later (prefer DX8.1b).
