pls explain me the concept of the movie "the matrix"
-
Machines built by man have taken over and are using Humans as sources of energy. They are bred on farms and are controlled by a huge computer which incorporates all humans into a dream state reality, where the computer has "agents"..who can go in an alter the "reality". Some humans are free and free others, then go back into the Matrix(the computer and program) with the ability to alter the program to suit them. Neo is freed by Morpheus because Morpheus thinks Neo is the chosen one who can totally ignore the computer input and say..run at 100mph, jump huge distances. The problem is the human mind can get fooled and the agents can kill em. Most when they think they have been shot, die, literally. Neo, learns he cannot be killed and begins to kick the agents ass. They flee and he is last seen talking on a phone to the computer and flying up up and away.
Hope this helps

It's cyberpunk for the illiterate.
-
It's a new spin on a Very old Concept. Extreme injustice, Extreme Oppression, The One (Messiah/hero) Saves the day and saves the huddled masses. Ergo, the Bible/Koran/Tora, King Arthur etc, etc, etc.

usin humans as electricity...:p

Just take the blue pill and fughitaboutit.

Neo and Trinity go into the HQ of the agents and there's a really cool shoot'em-up scene.
That, and the martial arts segments, make it a film worth watching late at night.
-
I thought it as great entertainment. Clichés sure, but more original than your standard action movie. Bit more intelligent too, but not by much.
Mostly because I couldn't figure out how Trinity could do the jumps and toejame from the start.
Any film that I cannot figure out within the first five minutes is either utterly an acid trip or decent

So how did neo destroyed the agents?
-
Haha! Why don't you just watch the movie? It's one of the best sci-fi/action movies ever made.
-
Ever since seeing that movie the daytime and nighttime Nyquil gel tablets always remind me of the movie... the blue pill or the red pill. (Okay, so they are really green and orange...close enough!)

He was a Zen/kung fu/karate/ etc etc etc Hacker that became one with the code that was the heart of their programing. Neo was the living virus that destroys them from within.

Ike2K is trying to get us to theorise and thereby write an interesting paper for him. It's a good idea really...it's something I might have done if the internet was availiable back then. All he has to do is hand in the noteworthy ideas and concepts, take the credit for coming up with the subject of the thread and participte in driving the discussion.
I'd call it,
"The Maxtrix on my Matrix" A Bulletin Board Discussion.
Wtg man
:D
...and he defeated the agents because the movie industry would never let "the machines" or aliens win. They never have...every movie that brings up the topic ends up with a human victory. It's a movie made my humans. The machines can't win.
Did the machines "need" mankind to produce electricity? I say no...just a cheap way of doing it.
It is these and other "deep thoughts" we need to explore.
I only saw it once though.;)
