Its a concern. I understand people often come here full of neg comments. What happens to those who feel there is an issue that needs addressing?
For example If I post that I simply think the maps are too small and we need larger ones...does this get me banned? Does this mean my thread gets locked? If I post I think connectivity has rotted as of late ( this is simply an example..my connection has been fine) do I get beat on the head by HTC and staff for simply NOT understanding the complexity of the internet?
I realise why HTC is doing this but its really bothering myself and some others.
Perhaps I am out of line...perhaps not.

If you post this game is porked and your serevers suck, fix it damit, and Hitech i demand an answer.

A little common sense goes a long way.
It's never been about complaints about the game or problems players are having. It is about how they are introduced to the bulletin board.
HT's example hit the nail on the head. It serves absolutely no purpose for someone to be abusive in the process of imparting information. No excuse for it and it just won't be tolerated any longer.

Yo!, batdog.. clue: Ferget the bilous bs piped into yer head by yer social studies teacher. This is not 'Liberty Hall'. This BBS is not hosted by the Government of the United States, paid for by your taxes and protected by the constitution or the marines or the ACLU. In short, this BBS ain't yours. It's HTC's. Tick off the owner, yer plug gets yanked.
Picture this BBS as a part of his home. He invited us all in to share our ideas and chat with his other guests. Some folks crapped on the carpet and got their bung holes plugged with a size 12 HTC boot.
If you don't like dip or the chips, or yah think the hosts bartender with his glass eye and shaved monkey are hideous and yah just can't stand hanging around, I'd suggest yah either find a tactful way to get your displeasure across (like a private email) or just take yer barracks lawyer with the tuna breath to lunch someplace else.

Perhaps it’s an evolution of ones ego?
Maybe it’s "their" thought of being the higher monkey of the Elite software pilots. Then again, maybe some folks think of themselves as an Insider, their opinion really, really and truly matters to HTC. Hey, they’re the Elite and the Insiders! Rules don’t apply. The unwashed masses must respect and hang on “their” opinion.
I respect people for their real life deeds; the cyber-piloting world is just a fantasy world.

It's all in the presentation...if you're smart enough to realize AH is the only sim out there worth caring about, then you shouldn't have problems organizing your grievances into a coherent rational case.
If doing that is to much of challenge then subscribe to ww2ol, after all, that's what its there for :D

If I'm angry and I want to post, I first stop and think about Chicken Pot Pie and that seems to calm my rage.
If I'm very angry and I want to post, I first stop and think about said pie and then I make Chicken Pot Pie and that seems to calm my extreme anger.
If I'm very, very angry and I want to post, I first stop and think about that wonderful pie, I then make that beautiful pie, and then I eat that pie, unless I drop it in my haste to alleviate my angry state, and even when I drop that gift from the gods, I do not respond with hate and malice, I just experience a deep melonchaly as I ponder what was not to be........my chicken pot pie ........

Chicken Pot Pie
Ingredients:
5 medium potatoes
Veggies (your choice and as much as you want)
4 cups meat
1 cup gravy
1/2 cup milk
spices (your choice and as much as you want)
pepper (to taste)
Topping:
biscuit mix
Directions:
Cut any and all veggies fairly uniform in size so they cook simultaneously (potatoes can be cut larger). Throw into casserole dish and mix with gravy and milk. During the cooking process, if you feel the pie is getting too thick, you can always add more milk, gravy or water. Add meat, spices and pepper (try not to add salt during cooking because if your veggies are leftovers too, they may have salt on them from when you previously cooked and served them). Cook pie at 350 degrees for 20 minutes or until heated through. During cooking time, prepare biscuit mix as directed on the box. Depending on the size of your dish, you may want to vary the amount you make. After 20 minutes cooking time, pull pie out of oven and either scoop biscuit mix on top of pie by tablespoonfuls or have mix cut into biscuits and place on top of pie. Throw pie back in oven and cook at temperature and time suggested in biscuit recipe. When finished, let stand 5 minutes, scoop, serve and enjoy!!!

lol no i think you should focus on getting rid some real trouble makers (like agent69) who actually do that stuff in the game THEN get rid of the other people...we spent at least 1 month getting rid of that ********* and it took 2 hours (or less) to bann someone for 1 post...
oh yes and its vorticon not vortican (as in commander keen and the invasion of the VORTICONS
i for one would like it if you didnt HAVE to ban anyone...(i was under the impression that people under 13 had to have there parents permission to sign up for something but you dont have any "i am over 13" button...sorry had to bring that up...)

People need to also keep their map whines under wraps. Was bad yesterday, a couple of em just wouldn't shut up about it. New players started asking questions about "what is pizza?" etc. It is never more than 3-5 people offending, and this isn't helping the game.
